Active Voice's Repartee LX product is a Linux-based unified messaging solution that was designed for mid-size companies. It was designed to allow users the ability to manage on-going telephone calls, as well as established voice and e-mail messages, visually from their computer. The Repartee LX offered a small hospitality package, as well.
Repartee also produced Windows 2000 products (first released 2002). Administration of communications could be accomplished using any Windows PC.

Active Voice, LLC corporate information.Active Voice, LLC was founded in 1983. Then in 2001 the company was split and bought by both Cisco Systems and NEC, but between 2001 and 2009 Active Voice operated independently after which became a division of NEC Infrontia, Inc. Active Voice provides unified telecommunication applications for NEC PBX equipment including e-mail, voice mail, and hospitality type applications. In 2014 Active Voice was integrated into AVST.
