Instructions for Changing the Time and Date on Inter-Tel Telephone Systems
Inter-Tel Encore, Axxent and GXP Phone Systems
Inter-Tel Axxent: Change the Time and Date
Note: This time change must be performed from the attendant telephone.
- With the phone not in use, enter 9800. The display should show Date.
- Enter the date in this format: MMDDYY. If the date is correct, press # to move to the time.
- When the display shows Time, enter the time in 12-hour format.
- When prompted, press 1 for AM or 2 for PM.
- Press # to save the setting and exit.
Inter-Tel Encore: Change the Time and Date
Note: Use the programming extension for these changes.
- Press the PROGRAM key.
- Use the Scroll Down key until the display shows System Programming, then select it.
- Enter the System Programming password, then select System.
- Select Time and Date, then enter the time in 24-hour military format.
- Select Confirm to change the time only.
- To change the date, enter it in this format: MMDDYY, then press the SPEAKERPHONE key to complete the changes.
Inter-Tel GXP-Plus: Change the Time and Date
- To change the time, press the SPCL key while the handset is on hook, then enter the Program Time/Date feature code 4.
- Enter the Program Time feature code 1. The display should show TIME XX:XX.
- Enter the hour as 00–24 and the minutes as 00–59, then lift and replace the handset.
- To change the date, press the SPCL key and enter the Program Time/Date feature code 4.
- Enter the Program Date feature code 2. The display should show DATE DAY MON XX.
- Press * until the correct day is displayed, then press #. Repeat this process for the month and date, then lift and replace the handset.
- To change the year, press the SPCL key and enter the Program Time/Date feature code 4.
- Enter the Program Date feature code 3. The display should show YEAR:XXXX.
- Enter the four-digit year, then lift and replace the handset.
