How to Change the Time and Date on Mitel Phone Systems
Mitel SX-50: Change the Time and Date
Note: Adjusting the system time and date on a Mitel SX-50 requires access to the programming functions from the attendant console.
- To change the time, press FUNCTION, then dial 14. The display will flash HHMM.
- Enter the time using the number keys in 24-hour format. For example, enter 1435 for 2:35 PM.
- To change the date, press FUNCTION, then dial 80. The display will flash DD-MM-YY.
- Enter the date beginning with the day, followed by the month and year. If the day is less than 10, enter a leading zero.
Mitel SX-200 Analog System: Change the Time and Date
Note: These instructions apply to the older Mitel SX-200 analog system. The time and date must be changed from the attendant console.
- To change the time, dial *5.
- Enter the time as HHMM. If the time is in the afternoon or evening, follow it with * for PM.
- Press RELEASE on the console to save the time.
- To change the date, dial *15, then enter the date in this format: MM-DD-YY.
- Press RELEASE to save the date.
Mitel SX-200 Digital, SX-200 ML/EL and SX-200 ICP: Change the Time
Note: These instructions must be performed from the SuperConsole 1000.
- Press the fixed FUNCTION key.
- Select the ATT FUNCTION soft key, then select the SET TIME soft key.
- Enter the time as HH:MM. After the first two hour digits are entered, the colon will display automatically.
- The time format may be 12-hour or 24-hour, depending on the system programming. If using a 12-hour format and the time is in the afternoon or evening, select PM.
- Select the SET soft key to save the time, then select the EXIT soft key.
