Use the User Guides for everyday call handling and feature access. Use the Attendant Guides for receptionist or operator functions. Installation Manuals, Programming Instructions, and System Manuals are intended for qualified administrators and technicians.
Before downloading a guide, confirm whether you have a Comdial phone model or a Comdial PBX cabinet system. “Impact” is a telephone family name and does not by itself identify the system.
How to identify a Comdial telephone model Note: In our experience, the model number on the underside of the phone is more reliable than the word Impact on the faceplate.
This page includes downloadable manuals for Comdial Americom, DigiTech, DSU, DSU II, DXP, and DXP Plus systems. Many of these legacy systems remain in operation, particularly in smaller offices and established multi-extension installations. Manuals can help with daily phone use, attendant operation, administration, and system reference.
If a Comdial system requires major repair, replacement parts are becoming harder to source, and service costs can exceed the value of aging equipment. Before replacing a cabinet, telephone, or other component, confirm the exact system and phone model because Comdial telephones are not universally interchangeable.
