About Iwatsu Adix Systems
Iwatsu ADIX, ADIX APS, and ADIX-VS are legacy on-premises business telephone systems that use Iwatsu digital key telephones, including Omega-Phone models. Although original manufacturer support and new equipment availability have ended, many installed systems remain in service and can often be maintained with refurbished phones, cards, manuals, and independent technical support.
When to Repair or Replace an Iwatsu ADIX
Repair may be practical when the cabinet, processor, trunk cards, and existing telephones are working and only a phone, power supply, voicemail component, or programming change is needed. Consider replacement when reliable parts are difficult to obtain, lines are being converted to SIP, remote users need modern applications, or the business lacks a technician who is familiar with the system.

The most widely acknowledged EOL date for the Iwatsu ADIX family is 2008, while Iwatsu subsequently exited the U.S. market in 2015.

How to Identify Your Iwatsu System or Phone
Check the label on the bottom of the telephone for a model number such as IX-12KTD-3 or IX-24KTD-3. For the main PBX, check the cabinet and processor-card labels for ADIX, ADIX APS or ADIX-VS. Match that model number to the manual title before changing programming or replacing equipment.
