The Toshiba Strata CTX and the Toshiba Strata CIX. The CTX is the older system often using the DKT2000, DKT3000, and IPT2000 series of telephones. The CIX phone system followed the CTX with major updates and a move to IP.

Back in July 2017 Mitel acquired some of Toshiba's Unified Communications business, including their PBX systems. In October 2019 Mitel announced its phase out plan for all Toshiba PBX products, including the Strata, essentially eliminating customers from expanding their existing phone systems. Many telecom professionals now recommend planning ahead and transitioning to a totally new different phone system. Mitel has also stated the end of technical support for Toshiba equipment will be October 31, 2021.
