Avaya IP-Office Softphone and one-X® Communicator Guides

Avaya softphone.Avaya one-X Communicator is a softphone app that can be used to make and receive telephone calls from your PC. Part of the suite of Avaya IP Office, users can install the application and then connect remotely over the Internet to their home office PBX and their own phone extension. Designed with an intuitive easy to use interface the softphone client establishes a remote extension from anywhere. It enables users to manage video calls as well as, conduct instant messaging (IM).
The interface is well thought out and offers distinguishable buttons and icons. A few at the bottom of the interface are Contact List, Dialpad, Work Log, VuStats and an application launch button, which will initiate linked applications. At the to the interface displays the user or agent status such as logged in and ready to take calls, or in auxiliary but temporarily unavailable (on break).
